Trustly Casinos: Deposits, Withdrawals & Fees

Written by Daniel Last updated: September 21, 2026

At Trustly casinos, you approve a deposit through your bank. There are no card details to type in and no separate wallet to fund. Before choosing a site, look at its cashout options too. Some casinos accept a Trustly deposit but use a different method for withdrawals.

Casinos that accept Trustly

When comparing casino sites that accept Trustly, read the withdrawal terms alongside the deposit information. Availability can differ by country, bank and account, so the cashier is the place to confirm the method before depositing.

How Trustly works at an online casino

When you use Trustly as a payment method, you choose your bank in the casino’s payment window and authorise the transfer through online banking. The money comes from your bank account; there is no Trustly balance to top up first. You also do not need a separate Trustly account or app.

As a Pay by Bank provider, Trustly uses open banking to connect the online payment to your bank. An online casino that accepts Trustly may show its name directly or identify it within a bank-payment option. A button labelled “Pay by Bank” alone does not tell you which company processes the transaction.

This differs from a manual bank transfer, where you enter the recipient details and payment reference yourself. For a broader comparison with cards and wallets, see our guide to casino payment methods.

Choosing a Trustly casino

Choosing the best Trustly casino starts with the withdrawal terms. Look for a clear explanation of how you get your money back, what it costs and how long approval can take.

Start with these checks:

  • Withdrawal support: does the casino offer Trustly for cashouts, and does it require a previous deposit through that method?
  • Bank availability: is your bank listed for the payment you want to make?
  • Limits and costs: are the deposit minimum, withdrawal minimum and any fees suitable for the amount you intend to use?
  • Account terms: what checks and processing period apply before money is released?
  • Licensing: for play in Great Britain, check the casino’s website and operator in the Gambling Commission’s register.

Apply the same checks to new Trustly casinos as to established sites. A new casino still needs to explain its withdrawal rules before you fund an account. A welcome bonus or a large selection of casino games should not substitute for clear banking information.

Making a Trustly deposit

Start from the casino’s own website or app. The order of the screens can vary, but using Trustly at online casinos generally involves these steps:

  1. Open your casino account’s cashier and select Trustly as your payment method, or choose the bank-payment option that identifies Trustly as its provider.
  2. Enter the deposit amount and choose your bank and eligible account when prompted.
  3. Review the amount, currency and any displayed charges before approving the payment through your bank’s security check.
  4. Return to the casino and look for confirmation that the deposit has reached your balance.

These steps follow Trustly’s casino payment guidance. Keep online banking passwords and approval codes within the bank’s own authorisation process.

Money can leave your bank account before it appears in the casino balance, even if the site says Trustly deposits are instant. If that happens, send the casino your payment reference and ask it to check the deposit. Trying again could mean paying twice.

Which banks can you use?

The bank-selection screen shows the available choices for that transaction. Trustly says that bank support depends on the merchant and payment, so a bank working at one casino does not prove it will work at another.

If your bank is missing, ask which other payment methods the casino offers. A list of supported UK banks may differ from the choices shown to customers elsewhere.

Trustly withdrawals: approval comes first

You request a withdrawal from the casino, not from a Trustly wallet. Where the method is available, select Trustly in the withdrawal section, enter the amount and follow the instructions for the receiving bank account.

The casino decides when to send the withdrawal. A fast bank transfer only helps once the money has been released, which is why an “instant” payment description should not be read as a promise that every cashout arrives immediately.

StageWhat happensWhat to check
DepositYou approve a payment from your bank to fund the casino balance.Confirmation in the cashier, not just the bank approval screen.
Withdrawal approvalThe casino reviews the request and any checks it needs to complete. Its published processing period and the status of your request.
Bank paymentThe released withdrawal is sent through the payment service. The stated arrival time and payment reference if it is overdue.

Before playing at a Trustly casino, find out whether its advertised withdrawal time includes approval or describes only the transfer afterwards. Also check whether it counts working days. A payment estimate is more useful when you know where the clock starts.

Our guide to fast payout casinos explains how to compare the full withdrawal process across payment methods.

If a withdrawal is delayed

Ask the casino whether the request is still pending or has actually been sent. For a pending request, the casino is the right contact. If it confirms that the money went through Trustly, ask for the payment reference and sending date before following up with the payment provider.

Keep the amount, date and reference together so support can trace the right payment.

Fees and minimum deposit limits

Trustly does not charge a service fee for using its payment service. That does not make every transaction free: the casino or your bank may charge separately, and Trustly may apply a currency conversion fee in some cases.

Any Trustly conversion fee is shown in the payment flow before you authenticate. If your bank account and casino balance use different currencies, look at the amount you will pay as well as the amount credited. A fee-free deposit can still involve an exchange cost elsewhere.

There is also no single Trustly minimum or maximum that applies to every payment. The casino, bank and payment service can each affect the available amount.

Check the minimum Trustly deposit and withdrawal limits separately. A site allowing a small deposit may set a different minimum cashout, while a bonus may require more than the ordinary minimum deposit. The amount needed to qualify for an offer is not a reason to exceed your own budget.

Using Trustly on mobile

You don’t need to download a Trustly app to use Trustly at a mobile casino. Your bank may ask you to approve the deposit in its own app, so you might briefly leave the casino during payment.

After approving the transaction, return to the cashier to check its status. If switching between apps leaves you on an old screen, check the payment history before starting again. The banking app, browser and casino need not update at exactly the same moment.

Mobile availability still depends on the casino and bank. Casino sites with Trustly on desktop may handle payments differently in an app, so check whether Trustly appears in the mobile cashier too.

Security, bank details and verification

Trustly says it encrypts payment data and does not store bank login details. Payments require your bank’s authorisation. Those protections are useful, but they do not make a casino account anonymous or remove the casino’s responsibility to verify its customers.

Trustly casinos in the UK must follow the same identity rules as other online casinos. For operators serving Great Britain, the UK Gambling Commission’s identity rules require checks before play: online gambling businesses must verify age and identity before allowing a customer to gamble. Electronic checks may be enough, or documents may be needed.

Further checks can arise to meet legal obligations. However, an operator should not wait until withdrawal to request information it could reasonably have asked for earlier. Paying through your bank does not override either requirement.

Is Trustly the same as Pay N Play?

Pay N Play is a separate service that can combine gaming-account creation, verification and a deposit. Trustly says it is available only in certain countries. Seeing Trustly in a cashier does not establish that the casino offers Pay N Play, registration-free access or gambling without identity checks.

Trustly casino bonuses

Before you use Trustly to claim a casino bonus, check the offer’s payment exclusions. A casino may accept Trustly as a payment option for ordinary deposits without including it in a particular welcome bonus.

For new customers, the qualifying deposit is only the starting point. An offer may also need an opt-in or bonus code. For a deposit bonus, read what the wagering multiplier applies to. With free spins, check the named games, expiry and any limit on winnings that can become cash.

Choosing Trustly as a payment method does not change those bonus rules. If an offer is unclear about Trustly, get the casino to confirm eligibility before making the qualifying deposit. You can also choose to play without accepting a bonus.

Trustly or another payment method?

Trustly may suit you if you prefer to authorise payments through your bank and avoid managing another wallet account. Casinos often offer a range of payment methods, including Trustly, cards and wallets. Its main practical limitation is availability: the casino and your bank must support the transaction you need.

A debit card or e-wallet may be an alternative when Trustly is unavailable. Compare the withdrawal route as well as the deposit screen; changing methods can also bring different limits or bonus exclusions. In Great Britain, the credit-card ban for online gambling also covers credit-card funds passed through an e-wallet.

Before paying, settle on an amount you can afford to lose and use the casino’s deposit controls to keep to it. A quicker payment method changes how money moves, not the cost or risk of the games.

Common questions about Trustly casinos

Do I need a Trustly account?

No. You don’t need to register with Trustly. Select it in the casino’s cashier and approve the payment through your bank.

Can I withdraw through Trustly if I deposited another way?

That depends on the casino. Some casinos allow Trustly withdrawals only after an earlier deposit with Trustly. Check the withdrawal rules rather than assuming every cashier option is interchangeable.

Are Trustly casino withdrawals instant?

Not necessarily. The casino has to release the payment first, and the receiving bank and payment setup also affect arrival. Check the site’s full processing estimate.

Does every Pay by Bank casino use Trustly?

No. Pay by Bank describes a type of payment, and providers other than Trustly offer it. Look for the provider named in the payment flow.

Do slot sites that accept Trustly have different games?

The payment method does not determine the game library. Casinos that use Trustly choose their own selection of slots, table games and live games. Check the title you want separately from the banking options, especially if you plan to use a deposit bonus with game restrictions.

Can I use Trustly outside the UK?

Trustly operates in other markets, but casino access, supported banks and available services vary by country. Use the payment information and licensing requirements for the place where you live.
